Located on Crown Street (near the corner of Cleavland St). It's your typical low-key decor & bain-marie set-up for Indian takeaway. For those dining-in, there's a number of tables & a free self-service tea station. Fridges hold sauces, cold drinks & desserts.

I love the food here. A large serving of 3 meat curries and rice for $9.50 + a massive garlic naan for $2 is the way to go. (My personal favs are the Beef Vindaloo, Mango Chicken, Butter Chicken and Lamb Korma) YUM! Very friendly and accomodating staff.

Generous servings, reliable & cheap - this is how Indian food should be! I love every vegetarian & meat dish on offer (except for the Korma as I find it too sweet for my taste but it does seem to be a popular dish with the locals). The naan bread is quickly made to order so it's fresh, hot, light & lovely. I like to eat-in, enjoy a free cup of hot tea with my meal, take comfort in how clean this place is & think to myself with every bite " this is the best Indian restaurant of it's calibre". My faves (if I had to choose) are the eggplant (juicy chunks), mixed dal & butter chicken (I think their secret here is the heavy use of tomato puree in the sauce).
