Grab the lift off George Street (cnr Hay St) up to a restaurant with all the nostalgia of a traditional Hong Kong restaurant. Long rows of round tables with aisles for the trolleys to roll past on the thick red carpet. Busy.

My husband & I eat here almost every weekend - sometimes twice. We always start with the pork & egg congee which is served in a "just right" sized bowl. Then my favourites are BBQ calamari, sticky pork, garlic & chive steamed dumplings, prawn dumplings, pork with black bean & mango pudding - all done so well. Best Yum Cha in Sydney & better than Hong Kong! Keep it up Marigold!

High quality yum cha. Have to go up a lift so many people miss it. But enough know about it to make it packed on weekends. Get there around 11am to avoid the crowds that kick in around midday. It gets soooooo busy around 1pm it's almost best to look elsewhere....
