It is a TRAGEDY that this place is now closed. The last of its kind in Sydney. The inspiration for this website. I shed a tear for Paul and John and the whole team. I love you guys. You will be sadly missed. It was a classic low-key American-style diner, with basic furnishings, but well laid out, with a view of the professionally run kitchen. Service was friendly, but location was not. It was squeezed between two "adult venues" in Kings Cross. But it was my favorite. And now it's gone - because the damn landlord wanted to double the rent. F*ck capitalism!

One of the cheapest diners in all of Sydney! Reminds me of the old 1950s-style Australian diners that have all disappeared now. Great good. Great service. Incredibly low prices! They are from the 1950s too! Yeah, it looks like a government-run soup kitchen from the outside but from the inside, it feels like home. Soup just like mamma used to make. Juicy steaks. Great meals! Shhh....don't tell anyone else!

Very basic interior, but don't let that fool you. The food is first class and the service surprisingly professional.

Classic old-style diner. A definite hidden gem.
